Heacock Insurance Acquires Bayless Insurance of Sebring
Sebring, FL (October 10, 2017) — Heacock Insurance Group – with offices in Sebring, Downtown Lakeland, South Lakeland – is pleased to announce the acquisition of Bayless Insurance Agency, Inc, located in Sebring. All Bayless employees, including Agency President Eric Moore, will relocate to the Heacock Building in Sebring beginning in January. Bayless clients will continue being serviced by those employees under the Heacock Insurance Group name.
“We are excited to welcome Eric Moore and the Bayless Agency employees to our company,” said Heacock Insurance Group President Jason Heacock. “Bayless has been serving the Highlands County communities of Sebring, Avon Park, Lake Placid, Lake Wales and Clermont since 1965. They’re known for their service after the sale and that’s what sets them apart from other insurance companies. We intend to keep it that way.”
Heacock is an independent, full-service insurance agency providing personal and business insurance from dozens of leading insurance companies. Bayless is also a full-service insurance agency focusing on risk assessment and commercial lines insurance. Both Heacock and Bayless have access to numerous markets, providing a wide variety of options to handle almost any exposure.
While the two agencies have similar products, this acquisition will add Westfield Insurance to Heacock’s current list of markets. “Westfield is a leading provider of insurance products,” said Heacock. “By adding the A-rated Westfield to our sales portfolio, we’ll have a more competitive combination of coverage and price to offer our clients.”
Bayless employs seven individuals in their office who will be moving to Heacock’s Sebring location at 32313 Broadway Street, Suite 101. After the transition in January, all Bayless staff members will be available at Heacock by calling 863-385-5171.
